We are currently hiring a Delivery Driver to work in our Plymouth, MN location. Monday through Friday, home daily. This position is best suited for an organized, responsible, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a career within a well-established company.

WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?

The main responsibilities for this role include :

  • Check and confirm dispatch orders and materials for delivery
  • Load for orderly dispatch
  • Operate truck to pick up and deliver products, materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Pick up items for return with proper paperwork
  • Obtain appropriate signatures on shipping slips and sign for materials picked up
  • Load orders
  • Maintain clean work area

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

The Delivery Driver position is best suited for an individual with :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of verifiable delivery driving experience.
  • Valid Class D License required.
  • Good driving record required. Applicants must also meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements including passing a DOT physical.
  • Good understanding of traffic rules and regulations; roads, freeways and local layout. Ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.
  • Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift / move up to 100 pounds.
