Residency Program Coordinator
The Residency Coordinator provides daily support for all undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education programs within a residency program(s) service line(s). The Residency Coordinator provides guidance and direction for all residents and fellows and Jefferson Medical College students within residency program. He / she assists the Residency Program Directors in the planning and development of policies and procedures relating to the educational programs and ensures compliance with all external review agencies.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Four years of healthcare administration experience, including a minimum of 2 years in graduate medical education.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and administrative abilities. He / she must also exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Complete familiarity with computers and database management is required. He / she will be able to handle confidential information and will exercise good judgement with respect to the generally sensitive nature of material related to residents and students.
