Join our team as a Database Analyst!
This is a hybrid role based out of our Kansas City office. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
The immediate responsibilities of the role will be to support an Asset Performance Management (APM) system to SAP system migration and integration for a major local customer. After initial client obligations are complete, this role will have ongoing responsibilities supporting Matrix's ever-expanding portfolio of manufacturing customers. Matrix Technologies is primarily an industrial automation and systems integrator for customers in several industries, including Automotive, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical, Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Glass, Metals & Mining, Oil, Gas & Chemical, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and follow industry, Matrix, and client safety practices and procedures.
- Provide on-site support for one of our major local customers.
- Augmenting the customer's team to support the migration and integration of the GE OneAPM system to SAP.
- Lead the continuous quality assurance and data integrity management for the APM system, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with operational standards.
- Perform a broad range of simultaneous duties including software development, integration, testing, deployment, and documentation services.
- Developing and maintaining business and manufacturing reports using relational database tools.
- Communicating with business stakeholders and end-users to develop requirements. Documenting these requirements and maintaining records of changes made to customer systems.
- Responding to evolving project requirements and goals.
- Collaborating with teams and departments to develop solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Two to Four-year degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.Capacity to run small projects as an individual and collaborate on larger projects as part of a team.Desire and drive to learn new skills and technologies.Ability to work on a customer site. Remote work is a possibility over time.Follow existing and develop new standard operating procedures.Ability to clearly communicate with business end-users and stakeholders through written and verbal means.Experience with data processing and storage using relational databases and SQL.Experience automating tasks using scripting technologies like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Experience with Microsoft Excel.Awareness of automation and digital workforce tools.Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs, and processes like discrete, continuous, or batch.Experience with the GE OneAPM platform and SAP platform preferred.Experience developing and querying data from relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DBMS, or MySQL and presenting data in report formats preferred.Technical writing skills, including documenting aspects of software such as user requirements, functional and detailed designs, and user manuals.Varied industrial background is a plus. Key industries include food, chemical, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.Experience with system migrations with User Acceptance Testing.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
