We are currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset in Mandan, ND.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients recover and improve their mobility. Your expertise will be essential in treating long-term care residents and short-term rehab patients facing various conditions, including :

  • Neurological conditions
  • Orthopedic issues
  • Balance, falls, and gait challenges

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and deliver effective physical therapy programs.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of clients affected by injury or disease.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for administering physical therapy interventions.
  • Document client information accurately for evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for home care.
  • Incorporate current research into daily treatment practices.
  • Participate in departmental activities to promote the Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health.
  • Supervise assistants, aides, and students in providing care and treatment.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to peers in your areas of expertise.

    • Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers required or to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.

    • Working Conditions

    This position is PRN (as needed), with weekly hours that vary. You will be working in a supportive environment focused on the well-being of our residents.
