Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy professional to oversee pharmacy operations in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting in Indiana. This full-time direct hire position offers the chance to select your preferred location between Kokomo or Marion.
Key responsibilities include managing pharmacy staff, policies, procedures, hiring, training, and scheduling. You will prepare and verify prescription orders in collaboration with healthcare providers, oversee ordering, inventory control, and secure storage of drugs and controlled substances while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Maintaining accurate records related to inventory, patient information, insurance claims, and controlled substances is essential. Additionally, you will monitor the pharmacys appearance, product displays, and promptly address customer requests and complaints. This role also involves developing and maintaining retail pharmacy operations, supporting new pharmacy openings, and providing telepharmacy assistance. Collaboration with executive leadership on staff progress and operational needs is part of the roles duties.
