As our Administrative Assistant , you won’t just be organizing calendars and answering phones—you’ll be playing a vital role in ensuring our hospice team runs smoothly so they can focus on what matters most :

  • providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families.

What You’ll Do :

  • Serve as the first point of contact—warmly welcoming visitors, patients’ families, and community partners.
  • Answer and route phone calls with empathy and professionalism.
  • Manage clerical duties including filing, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate patient and organizational records in compliance with hospice regulations.
  • Support scheduling of team meetings, interviews, and home visits.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes, ensuring action items are tracked.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, coordinating maintenance requests as needed.
  • Maintain a calm, confidential, and compassionate presence—especially during emotionally sensitive moments.

    • Requirements :

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. 3–5 years of administrative support experience (healthcare or hospice a plus).
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.
