Job Summary : National Power has an immediate need for a dependable Electrician Helper to join our team in our southeastern U.S. region. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Project Manager, the Electrician Helper will primarily be responsible for assisting the lead electrician with electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
- Help with wiring, conduit installation, and electrical component assembly
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on AC systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical systems and componentsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and diagramsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmentsWillingness to learn and take direction from experienced electriciansValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to learn or knowledge of the NEC and Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordinglyAbility to obtain safety certifications after hired, company sponsoredPreferred Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GEDExperience in the telecommunications industry a plusPhysical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 poundsAbility to work in confined spaces and at heightsAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periodsManual dexterity to handle tools and equipmentAbility to work in various weather conditionsCompensation & Benefits :
Salary Range : $22.00 - $25.00 per hourCompensation is based on :
