PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Join another internist and 6 FP Physicians in a beautiful Lakefront community of 10,000.

Primarily an office–based practice in space connected to the hospital.

Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post–discharge.

Anticipated weekly work schedule : 8–5, M–F plus call rotation. Back–up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA.

Anticipated volume of office patients per day : 15–22 / day

Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8–bed ICU and 16–bed M / S unit in the only Hospital in the County.

Average daily census of unit : ICU = 4; MSP = 15

REQUIREMENTS

BC / BE in Internal Medicine

LOCATION

Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area on scenic Detroit Lake.

1 hour from Fargo (international airport / shopping) and 3 hours from Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN.

Detroit Lakes population : 10,000

Excellent school system and reasonable home costs.

COMPTENSATION

$321,250.  Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production–based compensation.
