Environmental Planning Analyst

Overview

Kimley-Horn's Oakland, California (CA) office is seeking a recent grad to join as an Environmental Planning Analyst in 2026! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative and mitigated negative declarations
• Assist in Specific Plans, Master Plans, and other environmental or planning policy documents in support of a full range of infill and / or land development related projects
• Support various project managers and collaborating with team members.
• Will likely gain expertise in : CEQA / NEPA, sustainability, climate action planning, ENVISION, LEED, and Salmon-Safe
• Environmental clearance associated with local comprehensive plans / local land use planning
• Working with infrastructure projects from across industries such as transportation, transit, land planning, aviation

Salary Range : $92,000 - $99,000
