Job Description : Homecare Administrator
Position Summary
Mahadd Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Homecare Administrator to lead and oversee the agency’s operations. The Administrator is responsible for the organization, direction, and management of home health services to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and governing body directives, while upholding Mahadd’s mission and values. This role provides leadership in staff development, patient care quality, fiscal management, and community representation.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Leadership
- Implement Governing Body directives and organizational policies / procedures.
- Represent Mahadd to regulatory bodies, community partners, referral
sources, and the public.
Inform the Governing Body and staff of current organizational, industry, and community trends.Program planning, development, implementation, and oversight of agency services.Lead performance improvement activities (QAPI) to ensure quality patient care and outcomes.Operations & Compliance
Direct the day-to-day operations of the organization.Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation , ACHCaccreditation, state licensure, and all applicable laws / regulations.
Ensure agency marketing materials and public information documents remain accurate and compliant.Take action on reports or recommendations from surveys, audits, and inspections.Maintain policy and procedure manuals, ensuring they reflect currentstandards.
Staffing & Human Resources
Recruit, employ, and retain qualified personnel to maintain adequate staffinglevels.
Provide staff access to continuing education, such as in-services and externaltraining.
Evaluate personnel performance per organizational policy.Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and mission-driven service.Clinical & Patient Care Oversight
Support the Clinical Manager / Director of Nursing in ensuring safe, effective,and timely patient care.
Oversee adherence to agency clinical protocols and care standards.Monitor OASIS data, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.Financial Management
Manage operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters.Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial health of the agency.Review contracts, reimbursement structures, and service utilization.Qualifications
Per the Administrator must :
1. Possess a minimum of two (2) years of health-related experience and the
knowledge / ability to fulfill responsibilities (Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s degree preferred).
2. Be knowledgeable of applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, including :
o Medicare Conditions of Participation
o State licensure rules and regulations
o Local, state, and federal healthcare laws
3. Demonstrate leadership ability and authority, as conferred by the Governing
Body, to direct daily operations.
