Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and Siemens MRI experience for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Mobile MRI Tech duties on Fridays until 5 PM, then transition to Main MRI site after 5 PM
  • Main MRI Technologist coverage on Saturday and Sunday
  • Setting is a teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma center
  • Shift is 3x12 days, Friday to Sunday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Must work holidays if they fall on scheduled days
  • No on-call required
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Teal tops and black bottoms required for scrubs
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to approval based on unit needs
  • Modules must be completed prior to start date (estimated 4 hours, non-billable)
  • Previous perm staff, including PRN, must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before consideration
  • Staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November)
  • Parking is available nights and weekends for a one-time $20 pass fee

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
  • Experience with Siemens MRI systems required
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • Experience with Epic preferred
  • SSN and driver's license required for consideration
  • Radius rule of 60 miles applies for travel pay eligibility; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a local rate
  • First-time travelers accepted
