Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Memphis, Tennessee (38104) – Tennessee nursing jobs Facility : Level I Trauma Center, 48-bed Cardiac Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow Unit Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Dates : November 17, 2025 or December 3, 2025 Shift : Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00); schedule may vary Total Hours : 48 hours per week (may vary) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Weekend Requirement : As needed On-Call : As needed Orientation : 16 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (no pending licenses; NLC guidelines apply) Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Stepdown RN or in acute care nursing (3 years preferred) At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience in Level I Trauma Center and large hospital settings required Proficient in telemetry and IV starts Experience with Cerner charting preferred Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Travel nursing experience required Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and med surg overflow patients Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, pulmonary, and complex medical conditions Utilize bedside and telemonitoring equipment for patient observation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, etc.) Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed Maintain strict compliance with documentation and healthcare standards Work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Cardiac Stepdown RN in Memphis, TN, and take the next step in your nursing career!
