Position Summary
The Social Services Director is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the social service programs of the facility.
Posted Salary Range
USD $21.00 - USD $25.00 / Hr.

The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's social service programs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to address the medical, social, and emotional needs of patients / residents.
- Provide solutions to social and environmental challenges, including financial assistance, discharge planning (collaborating with community agencies), and referrals to specialized services.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field such as sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.Minimum of one (1) year experience in a human services role within a healthcare or related facility.Effective organization and prioritization skills.Strong communication, leadership, and motivational abilities.Reliable transportation required.Benefits
