Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department assignment requiring a MA RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
  • 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Must be open to floating to other designated hospital campuses as needed
  • Day-one pass / fail exam will be administered during orientation; only one attempt allowed
  • Relias testing required during onboarding, with two allowed attempts for preparation
  • Float as needed to other campuses, including Addison Gilbert Hospital
  • Medical exemptions for vaccine requirements are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Active MA RN license in hand required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Must pass onsite Tele / ECG and medication test on first attempt during orientation
  • COVID vaccine and booster, as well as annual flu vaccine, required (medical exemptions allowed)
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility—no locals allowed
  • Previous employment at any facility within the system requires a 6-month break before returning
