Responsibilities

Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.\nServes as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.\nNotes and carries out physician and nursing orders.\nAssesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.\nComplexity of Work : \nWithin scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal\nsupervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.\nPersonal Protective Equipment : \nFollows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration : \nRequired Credential(s) :

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart\nAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.\nRegistered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job\ntransfer date.

Preferred Credential(s) :

Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education : \nDiploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of\nhire.
