This position will be responsible for assisting in the Comcast Corporation enterprise-wide controllership and consolidation process and activities supporting the preparation of SEC filings.

Core Responsibilities

• Supports certain functions of the Corporate Accounting and Reporting (CA&R) department, including consolidated activities related to the Comcast Corporation monthly and quarterly close and consolidation process, including preparing key support for SEC filings (Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form 8-K Earnings Release, Annual Proxy).
• Partners with financial systems, divisions, and controllership teams to support CA&R projects and initiatives.
• Prepares top side journal entries to ensure consolidated financials are reported accurately.
• Prepares financial statement analysis information and ensure proper variance trends are reported.
• Supports the team's foreign currency initiatives.
• Prepares support work papers for disclosures in SEC filings.
• Supports requests for internal and external auditors while developing strong partnerships with internal corporate, divisional stakeholders and external auditors.
• Supports the integrity of controls over the consolidations process through checklists and other methods to ensure compliance with the regulations resulting from SOX.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
