EMS, Thin Metal Parts is hiring!  We are seeking an Electroforming Operator to join our dynamic team.

In this role you will be responsible for the production of high-quality metal components.  This position offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our organization as we continue to innovate and expand our manufacturing capabilities.

Summary :

  • Prepare and process electroplating equipment to produce parts for customers.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate cleaning and plating processes.
  • Process parts through the appropriate chemical baths, following run sheets.
  • Perform chemical additions as specified by lab.
  • Use a micrometer to measure parts, perform calculations and adjust process parameters.
  • In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification.
  • Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming / photo areas.
  • General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning of all areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Other Considerations : Demonstrable basic PC skills.
  • Able to read blueprints / drawings.
  • Ability to follow run sheets and enter data where applicable.
  • Ability to multi-task (work in different areas of building on different products simultaneously) Experience with chemicals and knowledge of safety protocols preferred.
  • Some heavy lifting may be required.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
