Job Title : Industrial Manufacturing Electrician

Company : Wise Staffing Group

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Job Type : Full-Time

Pay Rate : $25 – $38 per hour

Overview :

Wise Staffing Group is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Manufacturing Electrician with a strong background in manufacturing environments. Experience in stretch film or plastics manufacturing is a plus, but candidates from similar industrial or production settings are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting critical manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant electrical systems, motors, controls, and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate electrical devices, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with maintenance and production teams.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes and internal safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Provide mentoring and support to apprentices or junior technicians as needed.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns or after-hours calls to support round-the-clock manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate with machine manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers for parts and technical support.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Electrician (3-phase, single-phase, and DC systems).
  • Solid understanding of motor controls, PLCs, drives (VFDs), and control circuits.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and lockout / tagout procedures.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a high-volume production environment.
  • Trade school diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or related field required.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus but not required.
