Job Summary
This role is focused on evaluating market trends, identifying opportunities for business growth, and providing insights that support decision-making in business development. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth market research, identifying potential markets, and helping capitalize on emerging opportunities to expand the organization's market share. Additional responsibilities include identifying business needs, gathering requirements, analyzing data, and proposing solutions to enhance business processes and achieve strategic goals. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across departments to drive improvements and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis :
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Analyze market data, sales reports, and consumer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth or areas needing improvement.
- Monitor and assess market conditions (e.g., political, economic, and social factors) that could impact the business or industry.
Competitive Intelligence :
Track and evaluate competitor activities, including product offerings, pricing, marketing strategies, and market positioning.Identify gaps in the market or untapped areas that the business can target for expansion.Opportunity Identification :
Identify new business opportunities, whether through new customer segments, geographic regions, partnerships, or product innovations.Assist the business development team in evaluating the financial and strategic potential of new opportunities.Data Analysis & Reporting :
Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative market data to develop actionable insights.Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management based on market research findings.Strategic Support :
Support the creation of business development strategies by providing data-driven insights.Assist in setting pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and product positioning based on market analysis.Customer Insights :Gather insights into customer behavior, preferences, and needs to help tailor marketing strategies and product offerings.Help identify potential customers and guide the business development team in targeting them effectively.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align market insights with overall business objectives and strategies.Help drive the implementation of business development initiatives by providing market and customer insights to other teams.Reporting & Communication :
Prepare regular updates and presentations for stakeholders, including senior management and leadership teams.Communicate findings and insights clearly to non-technical audiences and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Growth Workflows & Processes :
Requirements Gathering : Engage with stakeholders to identify business requirements, goals, and objectives.Data Analysis : Collect, analyze, and interpret complex business data to help inform decision-making.Process Improvement : Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Documentation : Create detailed documentation for business requirements, project scopes, and solutions, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business leaders, developers, and project managers to ensure the proposed solutions align with business goals.Solution Design : Assist in the design and implementation of business solutions, including new software systems, workflows, or strategies.Testing and Validation : Coordinate and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the final product meets business needs and specifications.Change Management : Support the organization through the change management process, ensuring smooth transitions when new solutions or processes are introduced.Reporting : Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and offering recommendations.Continuous Improvement : Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve business analysis techniques and strategies.Supervisory Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.Master's degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar strategic role.Technical Skills : Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau), business process modeling tools, and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.Market Research Tools : Proficiency in using market research tools, databases, and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Google Analytics, industry-specific databases).Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and accuracy in analyzing and presenting data with ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation.Project Management : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.Business Acumen : Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and strategies.Business Acumen : Understanding of business development processes, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.Education Requirements

This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
