Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a MASTER CARPENTER to join our Civil team.

Responsibilities :

• Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work.
• Design and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation.
• Add fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures.
• Select lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customers budget and style.
• Calculate the number of fasteners required for each job.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals.
• Read blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations.
• Mentor and supervise less experienced carpenters on the team.
• Inspect other carpenters work to ensure the quality and craftsmanship meet our standards.
