Responsibilities

The IT Support Engineer (ITSE) will embrace the prospect of performing a wide variety of tasks at all levels of complexity from advanced engineering of future infrastructures to deploying server software to providing low-level user account administrations and user support. The ITSE will be responsible for engineering, implementing, and overseeing all IT infrastructure upgrades, migrating to and maintaining technology services on Microsoft 365 and Azure, maintaining the IT baseline, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-171, positioning the company to achieve CMMC certification, and providing day-to-day IT support for users. As the ITSE, your responsibilities would include :

Engineering

• Design and implement upgrades and migration from legacy infrastructure to a combination of cloud and on-premise services
• Conduct technical research and provide cost analysis data
• Recommend and implement the IT migration roadmap
• Manage Microsoft 365 cloud deployments and licenses
• Install server software, applications, upgrades, and maintenance patches
• Ensure network and system security practices comply with NIST SP 800-171 requirements
• Prepare network and system security practices for CMMC certification
• Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions
• Prepare the corporate network for a multi-office, multi-location architecture
• Document and maintain corporate network deployment and topology
• Configure and maintain routers and gateways
• Monitor security and activity logs and provide periodic reports to the COO
