Requirements : The qualified candidate will have a RN License in good standing, BLS or CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 - 3 years of nursing experience. Pediatric, infusion and venipuncture experience is preferred.
The Infusion Resource Nurse plays a critical role in supporting our Infusion Nursing and Home Health teams. This position coordinates, trains, and assists with nursing duties to ensure safe and effective care for our patients. The nurse also serves as a resource for families, healthcare providers, and internal staff.
Triaging phone calls and managing the nursing help desk.
Providing assessment and care for patients receiving home IV therapy.
Assisting with onboarding new hires and serving as a resource for ongoing education.
Supporting the IV Care Coordinator as needed.
Reviewing incoming medical documentation, lab results, and transcribing orders.
Ensuring compliance with PHS policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Communicating effectively with healthcare team members and families.
Serving as backup for education classes and outreach initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Active RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
BLS / CPR certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
Pediatric infusion nursing experience.
Experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding nursing staff.
Strong customer service orientation and professional bedside manner.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-focused approach.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance, policies, and home health standards.
Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience; infusion or home health experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to triage and respond to patient needs independently.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to educate, mentor, and collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers.

SALARY RANGE :
At PHS, we are committed to providing specialized care for medically complex children. We are dedicated to offering fair and transparent compensation to our team members. The starting rate for this role is $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
