The Retail Assistant Store Manager at Office Depot, Inc. plays a pivotal role in driving total sales and service growth within our stores. Additionally, your enthusiasm and expertise will help us create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhancing our stores visual and merchandising standards, freight, and logistics activities, and prioritizing unparalleled client satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will help lead a customer-centric environment, engage with the local community, all while fostering a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. The Retail Assistant Store Manager will be a "Key Carrier" and considered a leader on duty. All Retail Assistant Store Manager's must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. In addition, Full-Time Assistant Manager positions must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities which include but are not limited to opening and closing responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Sales and Service Excellence :

Partner with the management team to drive memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction.

Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards.

Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to store associates, including Print Services associates.

Maintain the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of other managers.
