Sr Electrical Engineer

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer with our medical device client in Mounds View, MN. This is an 8-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay : $70.00 – $80.00 / hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates FPGA blocks for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and / or electrical engineering applications.
• Determines design approaches and parameters.
• Simulates and verifies FPGA designs to ensure proper functionality.
• Supports implementation of FPGA designs including synthesis, timing, placement, routing, and power analysis.
• Analyzes design to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
• Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
• May also review vendor capability to support product development.

Nice To Have : AMD / Xilinx FPGA | Preference for individuals with experience implementing video subsystems in an FPGA design | Vivado Design Suite
