As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Site in Newell, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and your visible presence. You will provide excellent customer service while managing access control and communicating clearly with team members and site personnel. Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the chemical and petrochemical location to help deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or potential risks found during patrols within the location.

Assist visitors, employees, and / or contractors with inquiries and direct them as needed while remaining attentive to security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment within the location.

Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local law enforcement as required for incidents or emergencies.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
