American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tribune, Kansas.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Med / Surg RN with at least one year of relevant experience and a KS or compact RN license for night shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a medical surgical unit at a rehabilitation hospital
  • Patient ratios are typically 1 : 8-10
  • 3x12 night shifts from 18 : 00 to 06 : 00
  • Requires working every other weekend
  • Epic is used for charting, previous experience preferred
  • Locals are accepted at the travel rate
  • Responsibilities include providing direct care to patients on the medical surgical floor within a rehabilitation setting
  • All requests for time off must be approved by manager prior to start
  • Holiday coverage is expected according to facility needs
  • A copy of driver's license and Social Security card must be provided for consideration

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum one year of RN experience in Rehab, LTAC, or Med / Surg setting
  • Two professional references required for consideration
