This individual will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and responding to the needs of critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill or injured patients in the ICU setting.\n
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex patient cases.\n
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.\n
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.\n
• Operate and maintain specialized ICU equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.\n
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely medical records and documentation.\n
• Follow hospital protocols, safety policies, and infection control procedures.\n
• Demonstrate critical thinking and rapid decision-making in emergency situations.\n
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.\n\nEducation and Certification Requirements : \n
• Current Indiana RN license required.\n
• BLS / CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.\n
• ACLS or ALS certification required\n
• Prior experience in critical care, ICU, or step-down unit preferred.\n\nSkills and Qualifications : \n
