Job Description

We are looking for skilled Reach Truck Operators to join our team in a cold storage facility. Candidates will be responsible for operating reach trucks to perform putaways and pick items, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Operate Standup Reach Truck Forklift for picking orders and performing putaways.

Utilize RF Scanners to manage inventory and track orders.

Break down pallets and move skids as needed.

Print orders and use computer systems to complete and build orders.

Engage in staging, wrapping, and picking tasks when required.

Load and unload trucks efficiently.

Essential Skills

Experience operating forklifts, specifically reach trucks, for 1-2 years.

Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.

Ability to work efficiently in a cold storage environment at 30 degrees.

Experience in loading, unloading, and building orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Familiarity with warehouse shipping and receiving operations.

Work Environment

Work in a cold storage warehouse maintained at 30 degrees. The facility includes inventory bays for storing items. The company provides necessary gear such as jackets, gloves, bibs, and suits, although employees are welcome to wear their own hoodies, jackets, and hats. Shifts are available from 7 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. and 3 : 30 p.m. to 12 : 00 a.m.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lyons, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
