WAREHOUSE MANAGER - CHICAGO, IL

Job Description :

The Warehouse Manager develops and directs the operations of the warehouse to ensure that customer and vendor requirements are achieved in accordance with company policies and food safety and quality requirements along with BRC standards. This role serves as a leader in the Distribution Center environment. This role oversees the facilitation and coordination of Inventory Control, Quality control, Logistics, & Safety. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for driving process and productivity improvements while ensuring inventory accuracy across our integrated ERP, WMS, and BMS.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial and communication skills to guide warehouse operations.
• Develop and deliver Distribution Center goals and priorities aligned with company objectives.
• Manage operational policies, programs, and systems including Quality, Safety, and food safety compliance.
• Lead the orientation, evaluation, and development of warehouse staff.
• Oversee inventory levels and accuracy, leveraging ERP, WMS, and BMS platforms to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity across systems and drive continuous improvement in inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyze metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement and sustain process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Establish and refine departmental procedures, resolve operational issues, and ensure alignment with distribution center goals.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to optimize system usage and inventory workflows.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
