About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Two years of Med / Surg - Neuro unit and vent experience required.

License : Current state license or compact license required.

Certifications : BLS and NIHSS required.

Must-Have :

COVID vaccination and booster required, no exemptions.

Willing to float to other units as necessary.

Must pass the mandatory EKG exam onsite during orientation with a score of 80% or higher.

Description :

Facility is not approving time off during the holidays.

Every other weekend requirement.

Travelers will not be expected to care for pre / post neuro surgery.

Experience with feeding tube care and management is preferred.

Experience with telemetry and management of dysrhythmias is required.

Ability to work with patients who have diagnoses such as stroke, seizure, and Parkinson’s disease is essential.

Expect to care for 36 patients with 3-4 PCAs.

Floating may be required to other like units and helping hands throughout the hospital.

Flexibility with time off requests is encouraged.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Candidates should have experience in medication management and emergency response.

All licenses and certifications must be current and submitted.

Travelers will always float first when necessary.
