HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Title : CT Technologist

Location : Aberdeen, MD

Duration : 13 weeks (12 / 15 / 2025 – 02 / 21 / 2026)

Shift : Nights, 4x10-Hour (8 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM) | Block Schedule (Thurs, Fri, Sat)

Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills :

  • Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies.
  • Conduct special procedures such as brain perfusion, vascular CTA, and trauma scans.
  • Utilize GE Revolution 64-slice scanner and PACS system for image processing and quality assurance.
  • Prepare and / or administer contrast media; adhere to radiation safety and isolation protocols.
  • Work effectively within Emergency Department and ICU settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic charting system.
  • Follow patient care and infection control standards for all age groups (infants to geriatrics).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
  • Float within the department as needed and participate in on-call rotation (2 shifts / month).

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience (GE scanner experience preferred).
  • Valid ARRT (R) and / or ARRT (CT) certification.
  • BLS certification (required).
  • Maryland State License (required).
  • Prior travel experience required.
  • Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays as scheduled.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Advanced image display and post-processing (3D rendering, MIP, SSD, volume rendering).
  • Experience with vascular and trauma imaging protocols.

    • General :

  • Patient Ratios : Days 1 : 1.5 | Nights 1 : 1 | Weekends 1 : 1.5
  • Call : 2 shifts per month
  • Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend
  • Pre-Approved Time Off : 1 request
  • Scrubs : Black top and bottoms
  • COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required
  • Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)
