We are seeking an experienced Anatomic Pathologist to provide locums coverage in New Jersey for a full-service health care facility. The ideal candidate should be proficient in frozen section analysis, surgical pathology, and cytopathology, handling a daily patient load of 20-25 cases. Opportunities exist for permanent placement with the facility, and applicants must be board certified with a valid New Jersey medical license.

We are seeking experienced Anatomic Pathologist for locums coverage in New Jersey.

Our client is a full-service health care facility that covers eastern, and central New Jersey and they are needing ongoing coverage and support from experience Anatomic Pathologist. You will be working within a well-respected health system that offers state-of-the-art medicine.

The ideal candidate must be proficient with frozen section analysis, rapid onsite examination of cytology specimens, surgical pathology sign-out, cytopathology sign-out.

Workload : Annually Volume of the lab is 7000 cases per day. Patient load : 20 - 25 cases / day.

Locum coverage to cover as permanent staff is interviewed / hired! There is an opportunity to go permanent with this group as well if a good fit is mutual!

Shift : 8am - 5pm coverage needed daily, plus night and weekend call as needed

Minimum Education and Experience : A MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification or board eligibility in AP / CP or AP and cytopathology. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and academic experience.

Qualification :

• You must hold a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree and have completed a residency in Anatomic Pathology from an accredited medical school and accredited program
• Must be board certification from the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in Anatomic Pathology and / or Clinical Pathology
• Must have a New Jersey Medical license to work as a Pathologist
• Must per proficient with EMR : EPIC
• CAP and CLIA Certification
