Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the general maintenance of residential apartment buildings, including the turnover of vacant units and property upkeep, and must be available to travel regularly to other locations.

THE SITE LOCATION WILL BE DISCLOSED IF SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the technical skills necessary to provide exceptional service, minimizing reliance on outside vendors.
  • Supervise the work of outside contractors involved in maintaining the physical condition of the property, as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Ensure that service requests and repairs are completed accurately and promptly through personal effort.
  • Make sure that vacant units are prepared for rent in a timely manner.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the property management team and assist in the overall team effort in any way possible.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in apartments or commercial maintenance or in the construction field.
  • HVAC Certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus.
  • EPA Certification (minimum Type II) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Basic plumbing skills.
  • Basic carpentry skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to maintain a high-quality site appearance and curb appeal.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of lifting more than 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.

    Pay Rate : $25 to $ 30 / hr. (based on experience and qualifications)
