Senior Industrial Designer

Job Type : Full-time, onsite in the Dallas, TX area, $75K-$85K

About the Opportunity :

We're seeking a talented Senior Industrial Designer to join a dynamic product development team. This role requires a passion for enhancing people's lives through product design and a hands-on approach to bringing innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities :

Product Design : Design products from concept to mass production, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including junior designers, to shape product strategy and vision.

Prototyping : Develop prototypes using various methods, including 3D printing and working with fabrication teams.

Supplier Management : Work with offshore suppliers to bring products to mass production.

Market Research : Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform product design.

Requirements :

Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or a recognized equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role designing quality consumer products.

Skills :

Advanced-level SolidWorks CAD skills.

Experience in design for manufacture, including plastic component design, steel fabrication, and textile development.

Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.

Someone willing to travel overseas as required by the role.

This is a full-time position, onsite in the Dallas, TX area; remote work is not an option for this opportunity. Salary : $75K-$85K.
