Job Title : Yard Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Worker responsible for inspecting and documenting the condition of vehicles by taking detailed photographs and evaluating damages. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure vehicle information accuracy and condition assessment.

Responsibilities

• Walk the yard and take approximately 10-15 images of each vehicle.
• Gather necessary supplies every morning and be stationed by 8 : 10 AM.
• Evaluate wrecked vehicles using a questionnaire on a mobile tablet.
• Scan vehicles' stock numbers and VIN numbers to ensure information matches.
• Determine if vehicles can start, run, or drive, and jump vehicles using jumper cables as needed.
• Apply crash tape and window covers to vehicles.
• Secure all items left in vehicles by placing them in the trunk.
• Double-check all documentation and photographs for accuracy.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Markham, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
