Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance tech is a self-starter, action-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills, including follow-up and follow-through. The Maintenance team oversees a large variety of projects in addition to daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance needs both inside and outside of the facility.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and heart of a servant leader.

Strong attention to detail.

Must have a desire and understanding of research, documentation, and policy development.

Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.

Excellent relational, communication and organizational skills and maintains a positive, can-do attitude; values personal growth and development; and demonstrates passion for positive change / willingness to grow and change with ELC.

Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats and build and maintain strong relationships.

Knowledge of general maintenance (painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical).

Proficient in MSOffice Suite.

Strong project management or organizational skills.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Team Builder who can develop and lead teams with a shared goal around the mission and vision of Elevate Life Church.

Proposed Roles and Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance

• General maintenance and repair (entry level electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

At least 1 year of prior Maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, certifications a plus).
