American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of adult acute care and trauma experience for an evening shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care hospital setting with adult acute care, outpatient, and ER / trauma patient populationsTeaching hospital environment with Level 4 trauma designationUtilize Siemens MRI equipment for imaging proceduresFive 8-hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PMNo weekend or on-call requirements, although on-call is available if interestedCandidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals as neededEpic (Excellian) EMR system is used and experience is requiredPerform MRI imaging for a diverse range of cases involving acute and trauma patientsNo weekend shifts requiredFirst-time travelers are not acceptedCandidates should ideally request no more than 5 days off during the assignmentReturn staff must have been gone at least 3 months from last perm shiftDark gray scrubs are requiredFree parking is available in any unrestricted spacePre-start modules are required and are eligible for a stipendCandidates must complete a Minnesota state background check with required fingerprintingCandidates may be required to float to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on facility needsAllina does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or for former perm employees\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in adult acute care and trauma settingsCurrent ARRT-R, BLS, and valid state license required (license required if applicable)Experience with Siemens MRI equipment requiredExperience with Epic / Excellian charting requiredPending state license acceptedLocals are accepted for radiology positions\n Benefits\n
