78-bed general hospital

Couplets care model

Attends all deliveries

Low-risk antepartum and transition nursery care

Occasional float as helping hands to Med / Surg or Senior Behavioral Health (rotate 2 hours at a time, no patient assignment)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive L&D care including attending deliveries

Manage low-risk antepartum patients and transition nursery

Support couplets care, ensuring mother and newborn needs are met

Occasionally float to Med / Surg or Senior Behavioral Health as helping hands

Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

Current Connecticut RN License

2+ years LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience

ACLS, BLS certified

Advanced NRP certified

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

C-EFM certification through NCC

Preferred Qualifications

STABLE certification
