American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced in general radiography and Level 1 trauma for a weekend day shift assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a general radiology department serving a Level 1 trauma environmentWeekend day shift schedule : Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 : 00 AM to 10 : 30 PMCoverage includes a mix of scheduled and emergent radiographic procedures for diverse patient populationsPerforms radiographic exams according to department protocols, including the administration of IV, oral, and rectal contrastUtilizes PACS and Epic charting systemsDuties include reviewing patient history, acquiring and processing exams, administering contrast, and ensuring quality imaging standardsMust be able to respond to adverse reactions to contrast and manage patient safety throughout proceduresAssists with instruction of students and new staff members as neededMay perform duties in other imaging modalities if licensed and as requiredAdherence to department and regulatory compliance standards is expectedNot accepting local candidates residing within 50 milesRTO may not exceed 7 total days in a 13-week contractTravel partners are not acceptedReturn policy : Workers may not exceed 1 year of continuous assignment and must take a 6-month break before returning\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT (R) certification requiredCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart Association requiredIllinois IEMA Radiography License required if applicableAssociate's Degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology requiredMinimum of 1 year of relevant radiology experience requiredEpic charting experience and Level 1 trauma experience requiredAbility to perform venipuncture for IV contrast administration\n Benefits\n
