As a Security Professional - Unarmed Financial Patrols in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout the location. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Friday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and / or escalation as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any findings according to established protocols.
  • Document and communicate any incidents or observations in a timely and accurate manner to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or authorizations of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities, including evacuation or lockdown procedures, following the site's protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required that meets the requirements of the job state and Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
