Role and Responsibilities

• Accountable & Ownership in handling tool maintenance asset
• Progressive tools Trouble shooting personally and also lead the team as well
• Monitoring the MTTR & MTBF of Tool downtime, Prepare MIS reports and action plans for improvement
• Breakdown / Damages / Wear & Tear Effective analysis, Preventive actions & Validation for the same (CAPA)
• Do required ECN's changes in tool parts to run machine efficiently & Execute the ECN's changes with proper documentation
• Responsible for the upkeep of Tools to eliminate major breakdown and production failures
• Quick response & Detailed investigation towards tool breakages & / Damages
• Spare part management, Maintain required qty of spares & Reorder considering lead time to manufacturing
• Implementation of improvements / Kaizens to enhance the productivity & quality
• Provide required training to the team to enhance their skill matrix
• Responsible for on time preventive maintenance as per the defined schedule
• Updating of Preventive maintenance checklist
• Implementation of predictive maintenance checklist & Enhancement
• Creating Existing / NPD tools maintenance Check point & SOP
• Coordinate with outside vendors regarding maintenance and repair for tooling and equipment if needed
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver the right parts at right time (OTIF)
• Critical Tools downtime to be maintained from time to time trend wise to decrease
• Adhere to Company policies, safety standards, and 5S in the work area

Education and Experience

Diploma in Tool & Die making with 2 to 6 Years
