The schedule primarily involves call coverage from Friday at noon to Monday at 7 : 00 AM, with ongoing assignments every other weekend and specific dates outlined for the upcoming months. Key Details - Assignment Type : Locum Tenens - Setting : Hospital - Start Date : October 21, 2025 - Ongoing - Schedule : Call starts Friday at noon and ends Monday at 7 : 00 AM; Orientation / EMR training on October 23; call shifts on specific dates and every other weekend thereafter - Patient Population : Adult - Location : Kennewick, WA - Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Supportive credentialing assistance - Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) - Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive care in both obstetrics and gynecology. - Manage low and high-risk pregnancies and conduct routine to complicated deliveries including C-sections and VBACs. - Perform required surgical gynecological procedures, both open and laparoscopic. - Accurately document patient contact and call back hours in the EMR system. Qualifications - Active Washington State medical license. - Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. - Up to date certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. - Prior experience with high-risk pregnancy management and complex deliveries. - Clean malpractice history. Working Hours - Varied shifts with an emphasis on weekend call coverage. - Specific call dates : Oct 24-27, Nov 7-10, Nov 27-Dec 1, and every other weekend thereafter. Skills - Expertise in managing low and high-risk pregnancies. - Proficiency in surgical gynecology procedures. - Strong documentation skills for EMR and audit reports. - Effective decision-making for cesarean sections and complex deliveries.
