So, what will the Technical Level Cybersecurity Advisor at Terrestris do?

The Technical Level Cybersecurity Advisor is responsible for providing expert-level technical cybersecurity advisory support. The Cybersecurity Advisor will assist personnel in meeting their cybersecurity objectives, ensuring the capabilities of the end users to perform tasks independently. The advisor will accomplish this by offering expert advice, analysis, and recommendations to Host Technical personnel, ultimately fostering self-sufficiency and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture.

What does a typical day look like for a Technical Level Cybersecurity Advisor?

The Technical Level Cybersecurity Advisor's day is dynamic. The role involves reviewing task order objectives, collaborating with local personnel to address cybersecurity challenges, and providing expert advice on risk mitigation. The advisor mentors technical staff, conducts vulnerability assessments, and delivers briefings to senior officials. The day includes reviewing incident reports, advising on security compliance, and preparing reports and recommendations. The advisor remains flexible, adjusting to evolving needs and preparing for future tasks.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the person we're looking for if you have :

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including significant hands-on technical expertise in the field.
• Experience advising or working with Host Nation / Regional or International Organizations is highly preferred.
