LOCAL ROUTE DRIVER

Greenville, South Carolina

Daylight, Monday thru Friday.

We are seeking a route driver to provide service for our customers. This position involves driving a truck over established routes and selling services to businesses and consumers. Knowledge of basic truck maintenance is also beneficial. Our ideal candidate is an experienced driver with a clean driving record and a strong understanding of driver safety protocols.

Responsibilities :

  • Inspect and operate the truck, ensuring safety and reliability before commencing the route
  • Ability to locally drive a 26,000lb truck (Non-CDL)
  • Operate heavy equipment inside the driver’s cabin
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, radiator fluid, or performing minor repairs when necessary
  • Follow a specific route and schedule based on customer needs
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
  • Report defects, accidents, or violations
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally

Requirements :

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Pass background screenings (Drug and Criminal Check)
  • Heavy equipment operating is preferred but not required

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven work experience as a route driver or similar role
  • Ability to operate a truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in driving and delivery.
  • Knowledge of delivery routes and navigation.

  • Salary is based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, plus commission
