About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required

License : Valid nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, NIHSS required

Must-Have : Charge experience, patient ratio experience of 6, charting system experience with Epic required

Description :

Med Surg night shifts available.

Options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

First-time travelers are welcomed.

Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs.

Weekends may be needed as necessary.

Patient diagnoses include stroke patients and surgical patients.

Telemetry central monitoring tech is available 24 / 7; interpretation of dysrhythmias is not required.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.

Daily census is approximately 30 patients.

The unit contains 39 beds.

Additional required skills include blood product administration, colostomy care, and management, CPAP / BiPAP, and wound care.

Expectations also include managing IVs, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical care.

Successful candidates must have experience in patient care and management, particularly in a medical-surgical environment.
