Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $102,300.00 to $170,500.00.

As a Senior Data Engineer at Grainger

You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing robust data pipelines and backend systems that power our analytics, machine learning models, and customer-facing applications. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, data platform, and software development, with a strong focus on automation, cloud-native architecture, and seamless data integration—while also working closely with enterprise systems such as SAP S / 4HANA to support end-to-end business solutions.

You are a curious problem-solver who enjoys collaborating across functions—engineering, data science, and product—to build scalable solutions that deliver reliable and actionable insights. You take pride in clean code, scalable systems, and the thoughtful solutioning, development, and testing of high-quality data products that seamlessly integrate into the enterprise ecosystem.
