As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development / Physician Liaison to drive growth through strategic relationship building.
Position Overview
The Business Development / Physician Liaison will be responsible for increasing referral volume by developing and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of referral sources, including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers. This role requires professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to educate physicians and staff about our diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan to grow referral sources and strengthen provider relationships
- Serve as the main point of contact for cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare providers in the community
- Educate providers and staff on testing capabilities, protocols, and patient preparation
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into referrals
- Track and analyze referral trends; prepare reports and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, scheduling, clinical) to ensure seamless patient experiences and provider satisfaction
- Represent the center at networking events, conferences, and community functions
- Maintain a professional image and strong communication at all times
Requirements
2+ years of experience in healthcare business development, physician liaison, or medical salesWorking knowledge of medical terminology (cardiology or diagnostic services preferred)Basic understanding of statistics, particularly in interpreting data, test utilization, and performance metricsStrong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skillsSelf-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilitiesProfessional appearance and demeanorWillingness to travel locally for in-person visits and meetingsProficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications
Experience with cardiology practices or diagnostic centersExisting relationships with local cardiologistsBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or related fieldCompensation & Benefits
