Overview

Senior System Administrator / Technical Alignment Engineer (MSP) – client-facing, onsite position in Los Angeles. You'll be embedded with the customer environment, with occasional visits to the headquarters. This role is highly technical and hands-on, focused on keeping client environments aligned to best practices, deploying and configuring technology, identifying recurring problems, and driving lasting improvements.

Base pay range : $120,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr. This range is provided by Bowman Williams. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

What You'll Do

  • Provide dedicated onsite support and act as the technical point of contact for your assigned client
  • Perform proactive audits, documentation, and monthly changes to ensure environments remain optimized
  • Implement and configure Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and networking solutions
  • Deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and local infrastructure hardware / software
  • Participate in long-term problem management by identifying root causes and implementing permanent fixes
  • Contribute to client onboarding and project rollouts to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with standards
  • Represent the MSP brand with professionalism while building strong client relationships

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of IT support, systems administration, or consulting experience
  • Prior experience working with an MSP or IT services firm in a client-facing role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and core networking concepts
  • Familiarity with PSA / RMM platforms such as ConnectWise
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently onsite
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus, with salary increases available for new certifications
