Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available for a K-12 school located in Allen, TX, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. The ideal start date is the week of January 15th. This contract position provides an opportunity to impact a diverse student population ranging from preschool through middle school.

Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services on-site five days per week.
  • Providing direct therapy services two days at the early childhood center, supporting approximately 12 preschool students.
  • Serving three days at the middle school, working with about 30 students, primarily with mild needs and some with more significant communication challenges.
  • Conducting consultative sessions, typically once weekly, to support students and staff.
  • Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
  • Collaborating with educators and families to enhance communication outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Must hold current certification as an SLP with CCC credentials or hold appropriate licensure and certification as an SLPA.
  • Experience working within pediatric settings including schools or healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development in children and effective therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site, providing therapy services and consultative support.
  • Location : Allen, TX On-site at both an early childhood center and a middle school serving K-12 students.
