Job Title : Logistics– Manufacturing Operations
Overview :
The Logistics and manufacturing operations play a key role in ensuring seamless production flow, quality assurance, and process optimization within a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong knowledge of SAP, hands-on experience in coordinating production and quality teams, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate quality and logistics personnel across production lines to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee compliance with product and process quality standards throughout the manufacturing and logistics chain.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits in line with ISO 9001 : 2015 requirements.
- Ensure the consistent application of established quality and logistics procedures.
- Manage and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities and process deviations.
- Generate and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Train and raise awareness among operational and logistics staff on quality and process standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain departments to address quality or logistics issues.
- Lead process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Investigate, analyze, and implement corrective measures in response to customer complaints or product returns.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Basic knowledge of SAP modules related to quality, materials, and production.Proven experience supervising or coordinating production or logistics personnel in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and quality auditing practices.Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).Experience managing quality and logistics KPIs and driving measurable performance improvements.Advanced English proficiency for communication with auditors, clients, and international teams.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities with a focus on collaboration and results.
